The Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad Mini Kit includes four water-based dye inks: Brushed Corduroy, Chipped Sapphire, Aged Mahogany, and Pine Needles, each in a compact 1″×1″ pad. These inks are highly blendable and water-reactive, creating soft, textured, and layered effects perfect for stamping, mixed media, and experimental surface work.

I first used this set of inks for a graphic design project where I carved custom stamps for a menu redesign. That project is what pulled me into printmaking, especially linocut techniques. The colors in this kit have become some of my favorites, carrying reminders of discovering a new passion and the excitement of trying something completely new.
